❗||Zhaoxing Dong Village in Guizhou is very famous. Compared with the commercially mature Zhaoxing, I prefer this original Dong Village - Huanggang Dong Village. The scale of Huanggang Dong Village is not as big as that of Zhaoxing, but it wins in terms of authenticity. There are no dazzling commercial billboards here, only old people sitting in front of their houses to bask in the sun, villagers returning from farm work, children playing by themselves, and even goats pooping on the street 😂. There are few tourists in the whole village, it is quiet and simple, and all the buildings are original wooden buildings. Some people think Huanggang is not fun, but I prefer this kind of pristine village. 🥰 🌿Here, you can truly feel the tranquility of a secluded village. 🏮During the Spring Festival, you can experience the local Dong ethnic customs. There happened to be an event on the night we went there. Everyone was talking and laughing around the campfire, singing local folk songs. It was beautiful. However, precisely because of its original ecology, the village's commercial facilities are not perfect, but there are restaurants opened by locals, serving sour soup beef, stir-fried dishes, and barbecue. There are not many inns, the largest one is Hecang Meisu, which is located halfway up the mountain with a good view. The homestay we stayed in looked like it was built later and was not a completely wooden building. The boss is a local villager. The flowers in the B&Bs are all similar. Just pick one that you like. You all know each other as the villagers. The B&Bs are all similar, so don't have too high expectations for the conditions, haha.
