Scottish Highlands 6 days 5 nights free travel (part.0)

Because of my old procrastination, I didn't get a Schengen visa before Christmas, so I couldn't go to other countries. But I changed my mind and thought that I hadn't finished playing in the UK yet, so it was considered going abroad, so I paid attention to the Scottish Highlands. After all, its scenery is quite primitive and should be different from the city. At first, I checked a lot of guides, saying that the transportation in the Highlands was very inconvenient, the bus ran every few hours, and it was easy to be late. If something went wrong, it was very likely that I couldn't go back. But I looked at the itinerary and price of the tour group again. The tour to the Scottish Highlands basically only included 3,000 transportation and accommodation in the Highlands for 3 days and 2 nights, and most of the tours were check-in tours. The advantage is that you never have to worry about being teased halfway, and it is very safe, but the disadvantages are also obvious. Compared with free travel, the cost-effectiveness is slightly average (we played for 6 days and 5 nights, and the total personal cost was close to 5,000, only counting transportation and accommodation 2,800, and staying in a 3-star hotel. The expenses will be discussed in a separate article later), and you can't DIY your own itinerary, so it is inevitable that there will be some unsatisfactory and unsatisfactory places. So in the end, we had to bite the bullet and choose to travel independently. Before we set off, we only decided on two things: the hotel we would stay in each day and which bus we would take to go to where. We couldn't take care of more things, and we would decide more when we got there. So the general itinerary we finally decided was: Day1️⃣ London train to Edinburgh Day2️⃣ Edinburgh city tour Day3️⃣ Edinburgh Bus to Inverness, round trip to Fort Augustus Day4️⃣ Inverness Bus to Portree Day5️⃣ Portree Bus to Inverness Day6️⃣ Inverness Bus to Edinburgh, Edinburgh train to London The route map is on P23, it's a bit ugly... Let's put a few pictures first to warm up, p1 is the south shore of Loch Ness, p45 is Loch Ness taken on the road, and p6 is Old Man Rock in the snow. I will then record my daily schedule, focusing on areas where I can avoid mines on high ground, areas that can be improved, and areas that are more recommended.
