A small town on the border of Shaanxi and Gansu, delicious and easy to visit

Hi, Longzhou, hello! In Shaanxi, there is a place called "Long County", but people are more accustomed to calling it its ancient name - Longzhou. Guanshan Grassland, Longmen Cave, Longzhou Shehuo, Longguan Ancient Road, and Longzhou Five Treasures are all its famous business cards. I’ve wanted to go to Longzhou for a long time! I want to visit this small town at the foot of Guanshan Mountain, walk the Longguan Ancient Road, feel the immortal spirit of Taoism in Longmen Cave, run on the Guanshan grassland, and see the horse herding land of the ancestors of the Qin people. What kind of otherworldly wonderland, I want to find the ruins where Qin Xianggong established Qiyi as his capital thousands of years ago... This time, I finally got what I wanted, and arrived at this cool secret place in the hot summer. In Long County, we traveled from north to south. The first stop was to Longmen Cave, where we walked through the canyon, climbed the cliff, and visited the fairyland. A heavy rain stranded us in the Taoist temple. Longmen Cave, surrounded by white clouds and long bells, is even more fairy-like. I don’t know if you have ever seen that side of it. (Refer to the previous article for the guide) The second stop is to arrive at Longxian County, where you can visit the Longxian Museum and the Longxian Intangible Cultural Heritage Museum, taste Longzhou Hotpot and Longxian Mutton Soup. There are so many hidden treasures in Longxian County, which has a rich history and many delicacies! I would especially recommend you to visit the Long County Museum. The museum is not big, with only 208 cultural relics on display in the two-story building. However, these cultural relics are all treasures, selected from more than 5,000 cultural relics. There are 29 national first-class cultural relics in 22 groups. Public welfare cultural activities are also often organized here. On the day we went, many children from the community were participating in rubbing activities. At the Longxian Intangible Cultural Heritage Museum, we met Director Yang. Longxian is the "hometown of China's Shehuo culture". Director Yang is the founder of the Shehuo facial makeup in Long County. Each of the Shehuo masks in the intangible cultural heritage museum can tell a story. When in Longxian, you must try Longzhou Hot Pot and Longxian Mutton Soup. Especially the mutton steamed buns are completely different from the mutton steamed buns in Xi'an. The soup is fresh and delicious. Locals queue up early in the morning to eat steamed buns.
