Long County, Shaanxi: A Carnival on the Loess Plateau

During the Lunar New Year, Long County in Baoji, Shaanxi Province, known as the "Hometown of Chinese Shehuo Culture," is full of festive spirit and excitement. From the streets and alleys of the county town to the fields and villages, you can see various shehuo parade teams everywhere. Due to its long history and variety, Longzhou Shehuo has been listed as a provincial intangible cultural heritage in Shaanxi.
