I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Luoyang for the first time.

I initially planned a three-day, two-night trip to Luoyang, but I extended my stay by one night because I loved the experience of staying in a historical building (even though it's a reconstruction on the original site). The location is fantastic! It's right next to Lijing Gate. You can see the gate tower from your window, and it's easy to get anywhere. Subway Line 1, Exit A, leads directly to Lijing Gate. Downstairs, there's a snack street that takes you to Luoyang Cross Street in about 10 minutes. If you want to visit Yingtian Gate or Luoyi Ancient City, they are just one subway stop away on Line 1! The hotel facilities are very modern, equipped with a smart voice assistant that automatically controls the curtains and lights. The lighting has multiple modes, allowing you to adjust the brightness and softness. The rooms have smart toilets, laundry hampers, and a laundry room. Toiletries are fully provided (shampoo, shower gel, conditioner, and body lotion – I've never seen such a complete set in other hotels!!! It's so thoughtful!). The staff at the front desk are very welcoming. Whenever I felt bored, I would go to the front desk to chat and ask for recommendations on good food and fun places to visit. They always answered my questions patiently. Every time I went, I enjoyed the coffee made by the staff – it's delicious! I love it! The High Beam American is truly exceptional!
