2 Days in Macau – A Perfect Blend of Culture, Glamour, and Food! Just spent 2 unforgettable days in Macau and wow – what a destination! This small city truly packs a punch with its mix of Portuguese heritage, modern casinos, and amazing street food. Day 1: Old Macau Charm Started the trip exploring the Historic Centre of Macau – the Ruins of St. Paul’s are even more stunning in person! Wandered through the cobbled streets of Senado Square, popping into local shops and snapping colorful photos. Had lunch at a small café and tried Macanese curry chicken – a must-try! In the evening, walked along the Macau Tower waterfront and enjoyed a peaceful sunset. No bungee jumping for me this time – maybe next visit! Day 2: Cotai Strip & Glamour Spent the second day diving into the glitzy side of Macau – Cotai! The Venetian Macao is like a city inside a building – with canals and gondolas! Also checked out the Galaxy Macau and had some fun at the casino (just for fun, no big wins!). Dinner was unforgettable – had Portuguese egg tarts at Lord Stow’s Bakery and a great Portuguese meal at Antonio’s in Taipa. Tips: • Walkable city, but bring comfy shoes • Free shuttle buses between casinos are super handy • Don’t miss the local street food – pork chop buns, egg tarts, and almond cookies! Macau really surprised me with its variety – perfect for culture lovers, foodies, and people looking for a bit of Vegas-style glitz too.
