5 days 4 nights trekking in Mae Hong Son Doister Hardtrek

#Rainy season travel This trip is like stepping into a new world, a world of pure nature and the simple culture of the hill tribes. Doister Hard trek, a 5-day, 4-night trekking route that is more than just a simple trekking, but an adventure that takes us to the heart of the hill tribe community in Mae Hong Son Province. This route is guaranteed by the Thailand Tourism Awards, Community-Based Tourism or CBT. On this 5-day, 4-night trekking trip, I will take everyone to experience the beauty of nature that is still abundant, lush forests, streams that feed the people in the area, beautiful, intricate mountain ranges, and the way of life of the hill tribe brothers and sisters. . The first day is an exciting start when we set off from the starting point of Ban Nam Hu (Huai Puling) into the beautiful forest, see the view of Doi Hua Sing, Doi Hong Kai, and today's destination is Huai Hee Village. Along the way, we will encounter various plants, colorful wild flowers, pure air, and most importantly, the sounds of nature around us will make the atmosphere during the walk feel relaxing and invigorating. On the first day, I spent about 5 hours, covering a total distance of 6.5 kilometers, divided into 4 kilometers up and 2.5 kilometers down. On the second day, this morning before we started walking into the community forest, we passed through the village's rotational farming, which is where we learned about the Karen way of life in rotational farming. Most of the farming here is done with rice. Then we started walking to the top of Doi Pui Luang, which is 1,722 meters above sea level. From the top of Doi Pui Luang, if the sky is clear, we can see the peaks of Doi Hong Kai, Doi Hua Sing, and Doi Microwave beautifully (but for me, the sky was overcast). After walking to the top of the mountain, on the way down, we will pass through a very fertile community forest called Doi Sa Chu. Along the way down, there is a viewpoint for the plane crash, a beautiful field of wild orchids, and we will reach Ban Huai Hee, which is the same village we stayed in the first night. The total walking distance is 7 kilometers. On the third day, it is another day that is extremely challenging for your legs, because today we will travel from Ban Huai Hee to Ban Huai Tong Ko. The route pattern today is that everyone thinks of the English letter W, which means up and down. The total distance is about 11 kilometers, through the forest, crossing streams. Today's route is the most brutal. Today, we will sleep at a homestay in Ban Huai Tong Ko. The food will be provided by the host of the house we are staying as a chef. On the fourth day, we headed to Huai Kung Village, which is a village in the middle of a valley. The distance for today is easy, 10 kilometers. It is a walk through the forest and across the Huai Pu Ling River - Huai Nong Khao River - Huai Mae Samat River. Crossing back and forth, shoes and clothes, dry then wet, wet then dry many times before reaching 55. Today, it rained almost the entire way. Today, it was so much fun. But what I like is that today's accommodation is next to a stream. We can play in the water very chillly. I like it very much. On the fifth day, the last day of the trip, we will travel back out of the village with good memories. We travel from Huai Kung Village to Pha Bong Dam. Today, the distance is about 8 kilometers. Importantly, we crossed the stream at least 20 times. The water level of the stream that I mentioned is not very high, not higher than waist-deep. But if it rains heavily and there is a lot of flash flood, you can't cross it. You have to walk along the stream instead, which is definitely not 8 kilometers. The Doister Hard trek is an experience that I will never forget. Whether it's the beauty of nature, the warmth of the villagers, or the challenge of trekking, this trip will teach you a lot of things and give you a lot of experiences. Come and visit everyone.
