Japanese people come here to escape the summer ☺️ It feels like Studio Ghibli ||| I went to the highlands last autumn. Shirakawago is located in Nagano Prefecture, a summer resort popular among many Japanese people. In my travel company, we also offer tours to the highlands, which sell well. You can take a bus or train from Tokyo. I recommend taking the tram over, so you won't waste time and can also explore more in the highland. There are indeed many foreigners, but not as many as Tokyo haha.
