Menglian Zongfo Temple

Menglian Zongfo Temple is located in Menglian County, Pu'er City, Yunnan Province. It has a history of more than 700 years and is a place for local Buddhists to worship and pray for blessings. Upon entering the temple, you will see a golden pagoda on the right, a three-story central building, and a courtyard. The architectural style is typical of stilt houses, with the main body of the house mostly made of wood and the bottom suspended. The building is decorated with a large number of exquisite wood carvings, with various patterns of flowers and animals carved on the doors, windows, and eaves. These patterns are smooth, delicate, and vivid. The colors are mainly bright and warm tones such as red and yellow, giving a solemn and magnificent feeling. At night, the temple is even more magnificent and spectacular under the lights.
