The surrounding transportation is convenient. The subway station is just a few minutes' walk away and it only takes three stops to the city center. There are also many restaurants and bars nearby, so there is plenty to choose from. It is just a few steps away from Nelson cafe and Sherazade Shisha Milano in Portonuto. Although the Piacenza Hotel is not large, its decoration style is quite exquisite. The front desk staff was very friendly and made the check-in feel very warm. The room is small but well-equipped, and the decoration style is simple yet comfortable. There is a safe, air conditioning and a wardrobe in the room. There are slippers and a hairdryer in the bathroom, so it is no problem to eliminate the fatigue of the day. What I like most is that the room is well soundproofed, without any annoying outside noise. My room was clean, the bed was comfortable, small and cozy. There was daily housekeeping and the bathrooms were clean. Although the furniture is a bit old, it looks very vintage and nostalgic. Each room has a TV and wifi with a decent connection speed. Although the breakfast is not luxurious, the variety is sufficient and satisfying. You can eat different breads and coffee every day. There are some recommended attractions around. Milan Cathedral is one of the must-see attractions and can be reached in 25 minutes on foot. The Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II and Piazza del Duomo are also nearby, where you can feel the strong atmosphere of the Italian Renaissance. The nearby Primè, Panigacci and Mabuhay Restaurant are all good dining options. I especially recommend trying Risotto alla milanese, which is very delicious. All in all, the Hotel Piacenza in Milan really has a warm and homely feel. It is especially suitable for travelers who have a limited budget but still want to stay comfortably. 💖
