One of the Three Great Views of Japan - Amanohashidate

The Three Views of Japan refer to the three scenic spots of Matsushima in Miyagi Prefecture, Amanohashidate in Tango in Kyoto Prefecture, and Itsukushima in Aki in Hiroshima Prefecture. To visit Amanohashidate, one of the three most scenic views in Japan, from Osaka, I took the KOUNOTORI train from Shin-Osaka to Fukuchiyama Station, and then transferred to the Tanzanitetsu to Amanohashidate Station (which actually took quite some time). After arriving at Amanohashidate Station, it’s only a few minutes’ walk to the cable car station. After buying a ticket at the ticket office, you can start climbing the mountain (you can choose a cable car or a chairlift. On the day, you can ride the chairlift without having to wait, so I chose to take the chairlift both up and down the mountain). The ride only takes a few minutes. In the blink of an eye, we arrived at Feilongguan (View Land). With the beautiful scenery in front of us, I felt that even if we spent a long time on transportation, it was all worth it. There are an observation deck and an amusement park nearby, and it takes quite a while just to walk around and enjoy the view. Due to time constraints, we didn't have time to take the sightseeing boat to Kasamatsu Park (Shoryu-kan), which was a little regrettable. We had to visit Chion-ji Temple and Amanohashidate Shrine instead, and stroll through the souvenir shops on the street.
