Less touristy japan

#wecreate #japan #saitama This is nagatoro Iwadatani located in Nagatoro, Saitama prefecture. It is only a few minutes walk away from Nagatoro station. It makes a perfect day trip from Tokyo, takes about 2 hours from Tokyo station. I was lucky enough to have a Japanese friend to help me book a special Charcoal operated train to nagatoro. That was another experience. The Iwadani are layered rocks that represent Nagatoro in Chichibu, Saitama Prefecture. The currents of the Arakawa River eroded crystalline schists in the area, creating a fault valley and rock terraces. It’s a really beautiful place to visit
