[Naha] 3 Places to Enjoy Delicious Food and Affordable Drinks

Hello! I travel to Naha twice a year just to go drinking, so I'd like to introduce some of my favorite super cheap izakayas! Naha is actually a city with a lot of cheap and delicious izakayas, as well as izakayas that are popular for their "senbero" drinks, but this time I'll introduce some places that aren't senbero! ① Nakama Shoten [Sakaemachi Market] First up is Nakama Shoten! Personally, this is a place I always want to visit when I come to Naha! All food items are 350 yen each, yet the quantity and quality are amazing. When I first visited, I wondered if they were counting the portions wrong! There are many types of alcohol on the menu, with prices starting from 300 yen, and mega, giga, and tera sizes starting from 400 yen, so each size is a great deal. However, it's a popular place, and the place isn't that big, so it fills up easily, so I recommend going early! 16:00-0:00 Closed on Sundays ②Uokyu Main Store [Around the Public Market] This restaurant has great seafood! You can enjoy fresh sashimi and grilled fish at reasonable prices! The grilled fish is especially delicious because they grill it over charcoal after you order it in front of the restaurant! Alcohol prices start from 350 yen, and you can also enjoy awamori, and there are many varieties, so I'm very satisfied! I also recommend the mozuku tempura, which is 150 yen per piece and is large and very delicious! They open from noon, so they close a little early, so if you're going at night, make sure you go a little earlier! 15:00-22:00 Closed on Thursdays ③Maisukuya [Around the Public Market] This restaurant has a wide variety of Okinawan dishes, and the Okinawan oden is the best! The oden is mildly seasoned but has a strong dashi flavor, making it perfect for alcohol. The Okinawan cuisine is also very delicious, and any champuru dish is a great choice! There is a wide variety of drinks, including Orion beer, which can be enjoyed from 400 yen.
