An autumn adventure in the suburbs of Seoul, a treasure corner hidden in Namyangju🍁 My babies! The weather has turned cooler recently, and the autumn atmosphere is at its peak. It would be a waste of nature if we don’t go out for a walk in such good weather. Last week I couldn’t wait and went to Namyangju, Gyeonggi Province. This trip was so worth it that I have to share it with you! My first stop was the Mongolian Cultural Village. As soon as I got off the bus, I was amazed by the scenery. The maple leaves in autumn are like an overturned palette, their red is warm and flamboyant. The golden ginkgo leaves are not to be outdone, fluttering in the breeze, as beautiful as a painting. The sun was quite strong at that time, so I applied a high-factor sunscreen before going out for fear of getting tanned. It turned out that this step was very wise! Walking on the path where maple leaves and ginkgo trees are intertwined, the sunlight shines through the gaps between the leaves, and the light spots fall on my body. I don’t feel the sun at all, but just feel warm and comfortable. There is also an exhibition hall in the cultural village, where you can gain a deeper understanding of Mongolian history and traditional culture. The museum is carefully decorated, and the various exhibits and graphic introductions are very interesting to read. If you are tired of shopping, you can try on traditional Mongolian costumes and take photos. Those clothes are brightly colored with exquisite patterns, and wearing them makes you feel like you have traveled back to the Mongolian grasslands. When I was wearing the headdress, I was worried that my makeup would be smudged. Fortunately, I had applied sunscreen evenly before, and after adding some powder, I looked beautiful again. Coming out of the Cultural Village, next to it is the Miqin Valley. As soon as you enter the valley, fresh air hits you in the face, full of negative oxygen ions, and you feel your heart and lungs are purified. The gurgling stream has a clear and pleasant sound, which is particularly healing. Walking along the stream, you can occasionally see small fish and shrimps swimming in the water. Because there are lush trees in the valley, the sunlight is blocked a lot, but I still dare not take it lightly and reapply sunscreen from time to time. Here, far away from the hustle and bustle of the city, you can relax and immerse yourself in the tranquility of nature.
