Hello, Nan Province is famous for its many temples. Today, I would like to introduce another temple that has long been important to Nan Province. This temple is “Wat Ming Mueang”. Wat Ming Mueang is distinctively white and is located on Suriyapong Road, Nai Wiang Subdistrict, Nan Province. It is the location of the “City Pillar” of Nan Province, which is located in the four-sided pavilion in front of the ordination hall. This city pillar is 3 meters high. The base is decorated with carved wood, lacquered, and gilded. It is an important city pillar for Nan Province and attracts many tourists to come and pay homage and ask for blessings. The history of Wat Ming Mueang is that it was originally an abandoned temple. Later, a large log city pillar was found in the ruins of the temple in 1857. Later, a new temple was built and named Wat Ming Mueang. The temple has been continuously maintained and promoted as a beautiful place to learn and visit in terms of temple architecture.
