Walk from Qingliangshan Park to the National Defense Park. There are few people and beautiful scenery. Chongzheng Academy is under renovation and will not be completed until the end of the year. You won't be able to see the hydrangeas this year. Walk west along the outer wall of Chongsheng Academy, and you will pass the National Defense Park bunker. You can also walk down to Guilian City. Walk north along the city wall to enter the National Defense Park. The flowers and plants along the way are pleasing to the eye. Linggu Temple: The yellow walls of the temple and the white magnolia flowers are like a fine brush painting. Some have already bloomed. Magnolia flowering period: From now until mid-to-late March. Chaotian Palace: The red palace walls and glazed tiles meet the white magnolia flowers, creating a classical beauty that is unforgettable. Yuhuatai: The pink Baohua magnolia is relatively tall and is in full bloom now. It is more suitable for aerial photography or telephoto photography. Ginkgo The ginkgo trees in Ginkgo Valley in Qingliangshan are the largest ginkgo forest in the main city of Nanjing. These ginkgo trees were planted in the 1970s and are about 60 years old, with a long history. There are more than 300 ginkgo trees in Qingliangshan Park. The ginkgo trees have all turned yellow and are gradually starting to fall. The yellow leaves cover the ground like a golden carpet, which is very beautiful. Enter from the south gate of the park, pass the Sweeping Leaves Building on the left, and walk up the mountain path for 10 minutes. You will see a golden forest shining in the sunlight from a distance. Japanese maple Japanese maple is often mistaken for maple leaves, but Japanese maple is much smaller. Maple trees are usually taller and don't turn red as early. The Japanese maple around Qingliang Temple is turning from green to red. You can even see green, yellow, orange, red, and other colors on the same tree, which can be called a rainbow tree. Address: No. 83 Qingliangshan Road, Gulou District. Tickets: Free. Transportation: Take bus No. 23 to Hujulu·Qingliangshan Station and walk to the park. The nearest subway station is Hanzhongmen Station, which is about 1 km away.
