Nanjing Kayumanis Huaping Private Spa: Better Than Bali!

Nanjing Kayumanis Huaping: A Bali-like Experience "Kayumanis" means camphor tree in Indonesian, and I love how the brand name was translated for its entry into China. It feels especially fitting in Nanjing, a city with its own natural camphor aroma. Many details at the resort create the illusion of being in Bali, or even better. For example, the Indonesian wayang woodcuts depicting the Rāmāyaṇa story, which can be seen at every turn in the villas, the furniture imported from Bali, and the attentive staff at the spa and on the shuttle buses. The room layout is well-designed, but the oversized living room makes the bedroom feel solely designed for sleeping (just kidding!). The overall space is quite large, making it perfect for a family vacation. You need to ask the staff to adjust the temperature of the private spa, which seems more suitable for daytime use. It can get a bit chilly in the winter evenings. The restaurant is excellent; I didn't order anything particularly bad. The downside is the somewhat remote location. Apart from the resort's restaurant, ordering takeout or venturing into the city for food isn't very convenient. I've wanted to come here for a long time, and I'm so glad I spent a relaxing weekend here. 🖤
