Managed by the Nara Prefectural Government, Yoshikien Garden is divided into three main sections: the Pond Garden, the Moss Garden, and the Camellia Garden. The history of Jicheng Garden can be traced back to the Manijuin, a branch courtyard of Kofuku-ji Temple, which was originally the residence of the high monks of Kofuku-ji Temple. The pond garden in the park cleverly utilizes the undulating terrain and curves of the Edo period, allowing the garden and the building to blend perfectly. In addition, Yoshikien Garden was designated as a tangible cultural property of Nara Prefecture in 2011, demonstrating its important position in Japanese culture.
