🍓 Sweetest Family Memories at Fruits Garden Yamagata

One of the children’s absolute favorite activities when we’re in Japan is fruit picking, and Fruits Garden Yamagata totally lived up to the hype. Surrounded by scenic mountains and fresh countryside air, the whole experience felt relaxing yet exciting at the same time. The highlight, of course, was picking strawberries straight from the vine. The fruits were plump, juicy, and incredibly sweet—some of the best we’ve tasted. The kids had a blast running through the rows, carefully choosing the ripest ones, and munching happily as they went. The staff were friendly and explained how to pick the strawberries without damaging the plants. They even provided small scissors and trays, making it easy and fun for everyone. There was also a little shop on-site selling jams and fruit-based goodies, perfect as souvenirs or snacks on the go.
