Taipei's Most Beautiful Coastline - Stepping Stone Coast

Visit Taipei and follow the coastline from Jinshan, and you will arrive at Taipei's popular check-in spot, the Stepping Stone Coast! The scenery along the way is beautiful, and the long coastline actually has many bus stops, with Stepping Stone being the most famous and scenic one. Official Introduction: Located between Shimen and Jinshan along the coast, the beach is narrow and long, with a 10-kilometer-long stone beach formed by rocks that fell from the Datun Volcano to the shore. These rocks have been eroded by the waves and shaped by the northeast monsoon, forming rounded boulders. In the past, before the road was built, travelers going between Qishan and Shimen had to step and leap over these stones, hence the name Stepping Stone Coast.
