Jiufen - Jinguashi Express Tour

This Jiufen trip is packed with nature, featuring mountains, waterfalls, and the sea. It's a quick tour, no need to get off the bus, a legendary express tour. Travel from Taipei to Jiufen: 1. Keelung Bus Line 1062 (most convenient, no need to change lines, you can sit all the way) 2. TRA Train from Taipei Station to Ruifang Station, then take a bus in front of the station to Jiufen Upon arrival, you'll find a pedestrian street filled with shops selling food, snacks, and tea. But if you want to explore nature, Jiufen has more to offer. Just take a bus from the station to various spots. 1. Gold Museum This is a gold mining museum with exhibitions about the mining industry and historical displays. The beautiful outdoor paths have attractions along the way, and you can also visit the gold mine tunnel. Travel: Take bus line 788 from the pedestrian street, get off at Shi Shan stop, and walk a bit to the museum. 2. Take the Jinguashi Express Tour Bus Line 891 Travel: Board the bus in front of the Golden Museum, line 891 We didn't plan this, but when we walked out of the museum, we saw this bus and hopped on. It turned out to be an express bus with a driver who narrates like a guide (in Chinese). Even if you don't understand, the guide's narration makes the trip enjoyable. The bus stops at every scenic spot for photos. The bus passes the Golden Waterfall, which is truly magnificent and grand. Another highlight is the Yin Yang Sea, where the sea has two colors, a beautiful and strange natural phenomenon. Finally, the bus returns to the museum, and you can take the same bus back to the pedestrian street, likely in the evening. Watching the sunset in Jiufen is highly recommended, and you can catch the last bus back to Taipei just in time.
