A trail that offers mountain views, sea views, rock formations, and great photo opportunities - Camel Peak Ridge Trail

Camel Peak is located in Wanli District, New Taipei City, on the eastern side of Dong'ao Fishing Harbor. The peak is a small, independent mountain by the sea, created when the mountain ridge was cut off by the construction of the Yu'ao Road. From a distance, the peak resembles a single-humped camel facing the sea, which is why it is called Camel Peak. Camel Peak's sandstone terrain and the unique rock formations of the Yeliu Cape are part of the Yeliu Marine Area, featuring natural sea erosion and weathering geological landscapes. The sea view from Camel Peak is definitely worth seeing. The Camel Peak Ridge Trail offers excellent views along the way, including Yeliu, Dong'ao Fishing Harbor, Yeliu Geopark, Ocean World, and Keelung Islet, making it a high-quality route that combines mountain and sea scenery. At the top, there is a special natural bunker that you can explore and take photos in, making it a popular spot for photography enthusiasts.
