Huai Wang Nong Reservoir is located in Ban Phu Khao Thong, Tambon Phu Khao Thong, Amphoe Nong Phok, Roi Et Province. It is surrounded by 3 mountains, which are 3 provinces: Roi Et, Kalasin, and Mukdahan. People in this area call it the “Isan Sea.” It is another place that is suitable for relaxation, sitting and enjoying the view, and breathing in the fresh air. Most importantly, camping lovers should not miss this. This reservoir has sustained the lives of many generations of people. It is under the care of the Royal Irrigation Department, which distributes water to small canals for villagers to farm. Although the water source is abundant, the surrounding area is very deteriorated.
