- Wat Bang Phraek Nuea was established in 1724, though the founder remains unknown. Initially, transportation to the area was inconvenient. Since 1935, efforts have been made to renovate and develop the temple, including improving roads and accessibility. As a result, more people have come to make merit at the temple, leading to its continuous prosperity up to the present day. - The temple was granted the royal charter on August 15, 1947. - Key structures of the temple include the ordination hall, built in 1961. It is a reinforced concrete building designed externally to resemble wood. Inside, there is a Buddha statue made of laterite, covered with plaster. This plaster Buddha statue reflects the mid-Ayutthaya art style.
