Come see it at Wat Chomphuwek, Nonthaburi Province. It is said that this temple was built by Mon people who fled from Burma in the late Ayutthaya period, around 2300 B.E. Later, more than a hundred years later, monks from the Mon city built the Phra Mu Tao. (Mon-style pagoda) to enshrine the Buddha image brought from his hometown and as a place of worship, it is assumed that it contains the relics of the Lord Buddha in 2460 B.E. Later, a temple was built called Wat Chomphu Wek, which means to praise the high hill with seclusion (quietness). The original Ubosot is in the Maha-ut style, located behind the pagoda, which has the same style as the pagoda in the city of Hongsawadi. The end of the wall tapers to support the weight instead of the pillars. In front, there is a pediment decorated with stucco in the pattern of lotus flowers. The center of the flower is made of blue and white porcelain and Benjarong. The door and window arches are stucco in the pattern of plants on all four walls.
