Osaka…🇯🇵 A city of smiles and warmth that anyone who visits will fall in love with forever. For me, Osaka is not just an ordinary tourist city. It is a city full of colors, fun, and the true scent of Japan, ready to welcome everyone with an open heart. Starting from Kansai Airport, which is modern and clean. Getting into the city is very easy. I chose to take the JR express train. It took us through the city and nature on both sides. This feeling of excitement mixed with peace made me want to explore every corner of Osaka even more. The first area I visited was “Namba,” a lively and vibrant area. Colorful neon lights from shops and billboards illuminated the streets. The lights reflected on the surface of the Dotonbori River made the nighttime atmosphere look romantic and lively in an indescribable way. Wherever you go, you will find restaurants and food everywhere. The smell of takoyaki in the air is really irresistible. When it comes to takoyaki, I give in. The round balls that are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, filled with fresh squid, topped with sweet sauce and mayonnaise. This is a must-try snack! It’s no wonder Osakans are so proud of this dish. There’s also okonomiyaki, which is a Japanese pancake with vegetables and meat, topped with a special sauce. It’s so delicious that you’ll want to eat it every day. The food here isn’t just delicious, it’s also full of meticulous attention to detail. I tried a big bowl of ramen with a rich soup base, thick and soft pieces of chashu pork that melt in your mouth, and kushikatsu, crispy fried skewers dipped in a sweet and salty sauce. The rich flavors made me smile. Going to Universal Studios Japan was another highlight of the trip. I felt like I had entered a magical world, especially the Harry Potter zone, which had the magnificent Hogwarts Castle and a realistic atmosphere that made me feel like a real wizard or witch. Another zone that was just as fun was Super Nintendo World, which was full of games and bright colors. It was like I had gone back in time to being a kid again. Although Osaka is a bustling city, I found some quiet corners that made me feel calmer, such as a small shrine in the middle of nature. I wrote my wish on an ema wooden tablet and tied it to a large tree. It felt like I was talking to myself and putting my hopes on a peaceful future. Shinsaibashi is another area that I really like. Because it is full of fashion shops, cosmetics, and cute things, I walked around to buy souvenirs such as takoyaki key chains, cute socks, and cute packaged snacks that made me smile every time I looked at them. The cuteness of Osaka does not only come from the place, but also from the kindness and generosity of the people. Even though I can't speak much Japanese, everyone smiles and is always ready to help. Once, I was lost and an old lady came to help me find directions and took me to the train station. That feeling was warm, like having a new friend who sincerely cares for me. Osaka taught me that happiness lies in experiencing new things, seeing the little things around us, sipping coffee in a cute cafe, or even talking to strangers who became temporary friends. Everything filled my heart with happiness and inspiration. If you are looking for a place to travel that is full of color and warmth, Osaka is the best answer.
