Osaka…🇯🇵 A city that makes my heart swell every time I visit. The brightness and liveliness of this place make me feel like I’m back home. A city with a friendly charm, full of smiles and warmth from the locals. From the moment I got off the plane at Kansai Airport, I was impressed by the cleanliness and modernity of the place. Traveling into the city center by the fast and punctual JR train, the view on both sides of the road was filled with Japanese houses and lush greenery, making me feel refreshed and excited for this adventure. I chose to stay in Namba, the center of Osaka. At night, it was filled with colorful neon lights, people’s laughter, and the aroma of traditional Japanese food. Walking around Shinsaibashi and Dotonbori, I felt an atmosphere full of fun and liveliness. What I love the most is Osaka’s food: “Takoyaki”, round balls with a crispy outside and soft inside, filled with fresh squid, topped with a sweet and salty sauce and mayonnaise, which are really hard to stop eating. And “Okonomiyaki”, Japanese pancakes stuffed with fresh vegetables and meat, topped with a special sauce and fragrant mayonnaise. It's a menu that warms my heart every time I eat it. In addition, I also tried a big bowl of ramen, rich soup, fragrant pork bones and spices, thick and soft chashu pork that melts in your mouth, and kushikatsu, crispy fried skewers dipped in a special sauce. It was so delicious that I had to come back for more. One of the best experiences was visiting Universal Studios Japan, the Harry Potter zone, which made me feel like I had truly entered a magical world. Hogwarts Castle, the magic wand shop, and sweet butterbeer made me smile with excitement. The Super Nintendo World zone was full of colors and cute games that made me feel like a child again. Even though Osaka is bustling, there are still quiet corners hidden away. I stopped by a small shrine with a peaceful atmosphere and a natural atmosphere, wrote a wish on an ema wooden tablet, and tied it to a large tree. It felt like I could put my hopes and talk to myself in peace. Shopping in Shinsaibashi is another thing I love. It's full of fashion, cosmetics, and cute shops. I bought souvenirs like takoyaki keychains, cute socks, and cute packaged snacks. Every piece is full of memories and stories of Osaka that I will keep in my heart. What impressed me the most was the kindness of the people. Even though I can’t speak much Japanese, everyone was willing to help with smiles and kindness. Once, I was lost and an old lady came to help me find directions and took me to the train station. This sincerity and warmth made me feel like I had found a new friend who was ready to take care of me. Osaka is not only a city with delicious food and many tourist attractions, but it is also a city that taught me to love myself and see the happiness in the little things around me. Whether it was walking along the small streets, sipping coffee in a cute cafe, or talking to kind people I met along the way, everything filled my heart with happiness and inspiration. If you are looking for a place to travel that is full of color, fun, and warmth, Osaka is the best answer.
