Auschwitz I

I went to Auschwitz I. Admission is free, but there are guided and unguided tours, and it's best to make a reservation online in advance. If you buy tickets on the day, there will be a huge queue, so if you're not careful, you may not be able to enter even though you've come all the way. This Auschwitz Museum has been preserved as it was at the time, but it has a spooky and eerie atmosphere. There are still places where people were shot or hanged, medical rooms, toilets, water sources, and photos of the faces of those who died. What shocked me the most was the piles of glasses, shoes, prosthetic legs, tableware used in daily life, hippos, and cans of insecticide for poisoning gas. It makes you wonder how many victims there were. Painful scenes remain. You can't really understand this dark and eerie atmosphere unless you go to the site, so be sure to go. By the way, there is also a second camp, which is larger than the first, so don't forget that.
