Wat Sao Thong Thong is an ancient temple built since the Ayutthaya period by the Mon people. It is located on Koh Kret, Pak Kret District, Nonthaburi Province. Originally, this temple was called Wat Suan Mak because in the past it was surrounded by betel palms. Nowadays, if you visit this temple, you will see a betel palm that is over 200 years old standing tall in front of the old temple. It is both large and very rare. In addition to paying homage to the sacred objects, this temple is also located on the banks of the Chao Phraya River, making the atmosphere very good. The wind is cool and comfortable.
