A Place of Wisdom: Wat Panyanantaram

🏡 Wat Panyanantaram is a temple founded by Luang Por Panyananda Bhikkhu, the former abbot of Wat Cholpratan Rangsarit. It was established as a legacy of Dharma. In 1985, land was donated for the creation of a monastic center called 'San Thao.' 🏘 However, due to a lack of monks to oversee the center, Mrs. Boonsong Phothichan donated additional land and coordinated with Phra Thep Wisutthimethi and Luang Por Panyananda Bhikkhu, the chairman of the Buddhist Preservation Center. This led to the establishment of Wat Panyanantaram in 1994. 🧎♂️🧎♀️ The temple also serves as a place for Dharma practice, offering a serene atmosphere. Various activities are available for Buddhists, including traditional ceremonies and ordination programs every Saturday, Sunday, and on important religious days. Key attractions within the temple include: 🛕 A replica of the Mahabodhi Stupa from India. The upper level of the stupa is called the 'Buddha Metta' level, while the lower level is known as the 'Buddha Barami' level. It features unique 3D Dharma puzzle images—29 in total—that are one-of-a-kind in the world.
