A hidden little Nara-style ancient temple is nestled in the outskirts of Chengdu

It feels like stepping into Nara, Japan. The temple is not very large and some areas are under maintenance. There is a small courtyard inside that tourists cannot enter. Looking through the wooden fence, you can see a Japanese-style scene. This place is very photogenic, and it is recommended to wear traditional or modern Chinese-style clothing for pictures. Address: Sansheng Temple in Pengzhou Admission is free 🆓 and parking is available at the entrance. There are no dining facilities inside, but you can enjoy tea. A few minutes' drive will take you to Guihua Long Kiln, which is the home of Western Sichuan pottery culture. There is a small museum and experience area inside. If you have time, you can spend 60 yuan to experience pottery making.
