Wat Phra Si Rattana Mahathat, commonly known as 'Wat Yai', is a first-class royal temple of the type 'Woramahavihara'. It is located on Phutthabucha Road, on the eastern bank of the Nan River, opposite the Phitsanulok Provincial Hall. It houses Phra Buddha Chinnarat, a Buddha image considered the most beautiful in Thailand. Opening Hours Wat Phra Si Rattana Mahathat Woramahavihara (Wat Yai) is open daily from 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM. Phra Buddha Chinnarat National Museum, located within the temple, is open Wednesday to Sunday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM (closed on Mondays, Tuesdays, and public holidays).
