Khun Inthaprom Temple

“Wat Khun Inthapramun” It is said that Khun Inthapramun, a tax collector who embezzled government funds to build a temple, when the king investigated him, Khun Inthapramun refused to say anything, so he was punished by being whipped to death. This temple is therefore called “Wat Khun Inthapramun”. Wat Khun Inthapramun is located in Inthapramun Subdistrict. It was built during the Sukhothai period. It is home to one of the largest and longest reclining Buddhas in Thailand, measuring 50 meters long. It was originally enshrined in a chapel but was burned down, leaving only the reclining Buddha. It has beautiful features, a smiling face, and looks calm and peaceful. It is similar in size to the Chaksi reclining Buddha in Singburi Province.
