“Wat Klang Pavilion”, Ayutthaya, worship the Buddha statue in the cremation pose This Buddha statue in the cremation pose was built according to the Tripitaka regarding the cremation of the body of the Buddha. On the pedestal is a golden-patterned coffin with a red background measuring 70 cm wide and 2 meters long. The coffin itself is 1 meter high and has a pedestal base. What is special is that at the end of the coffin on the west side, the soles of the Buddha's feet protrude. At the ends of the feet, Phra Kassappa is standing and paying respect to the feet. Each foot is approximately 20 cm wide and 40 cm long. In the middle of the feet, there is a wheel seal and a beautiful snail shell pattern. There are murals around the walls in all 4 directions, telling the story of the disciples of the Buddha who came to join the cremation of the Buddha.
