Chao Sam Phraya National Museum

This is a national museum located in the Ayutthaya Historical Park. The museum opened in 1970 and its official name is Chao Sam Phraya National Museum. It was established to protect and promote the glorious cultural heritage of the Ayutthaya Kingdom (1350-1767), the longest-lasting dynasty in Thai history. The museum reopened in 2022, showcasing golden treasures discovered from Wat Ratchaburana, Wat Mahathat, and other sites. It is the best museum to see the golden relics of the magnificent Ayutthaya Kingdom, but it is not as large as I imagined.
