#MuseumVisit #100WaysToVisit 🍂 The National Museum "Chan Kasem" in the Chan Kasem Palace (Front Palace) was built during the reign of King Maha Thammarachathirat in 2120 B.E. as the residence of King Naresuan the Great, the Crown Prince and many other kings. 🍂 Highlights of visiting the museum: 🧊 See the original ancient walls, floors and doors of the palace. 🧊 The four-sided wooden pavilion (the audience hall for official functions and residence) displays personal belongings that were originally in the palace. 🧊 The Phiman Rattaya Throne Hall displays sculptures of deities and the Buddha statue in the form of a reclining Buddha in the Lopburi period, bronze Buddha statues in the Ayutthaya period and carved wood. 🧊 The Phisai Salak Throne Hall (the telescope tower) is a four-story building. Used as a place to sit and watch the stars ⏱️ Opening-closing hours: 9.00-16.00 hrs. (Closed on Mondays, Tuesdays and public holidays) 🌳 Entrance fee: 20 baht
