Wat Tummickarat

#JanuaryGoodPlaces2025 Wat Thammikarat has a main hall, a bell-shaped pagoda and a reclining Buddha temple. A bronze Buddha head is enshrined in the main hall (now on display in Chao Sam Phraya National Museum). The Reclining Buddha Temple - Wihan Phra Phutthasaiyat was built by Queen Phraya Thammikarat to pray for the sick princess. The reclining Buddha statue is 12 meters long and its feet are gilded and inlaid with glass stones. Phra Chedi is a rare bell-shaped pagoda with 52 stone lions surrounding its base.
