Samwihan Temple

Wat Sam Wihan, Ayutthaya Province 🙏This is another ancient temple in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province. It is believed to have been built in the early Ayutthaya period. It was originally called "Wat Sam Phihan" and later changed its name to "Wat Sam Wihan" because the temple originally had three chapels: the Reclining Buddha, the Sitting Buddha, and the Standing Buddha. However, at present, only two chapels remain: the Reclining Buddha and the Sitting Buddha. 🙏The Ubosot is where Phra Phuttha Suwanna Nimit or Luang Pho Thong is enshrined, a Buddha statue with a lap width of 3.6 meters.
