#VisitHistoricalSite Wat Nam Rop Historical Site Wat Nam Rop is an ancient temple in Surat Thani Province. It is assumed to have been built during the Ayutthaya period. Inside the temple, there is an old chapel built with wooden pillars. It is a Thai-style building with a gable roof, gable finials, and two-tiered bird wings. The roof is curved like a ship's hull. The chapel walls are low, made of brick and plastered with cement. The bricks are built from the ground. There is no lotus pedestal like in general chapels. It is assumed that the original building was entirely made of wood. It is considered a very beautiful and simple temple. #Mr.Tourism
