Pohang Octopus Restaurant, Villa D Wave

It's been a month since I posted, but it's such a memorable restaurant that I can't wait to post about it! (Wow!) I'm leaving a review of Villa de Wave, which I stopped by on my way from Gyeongju to Pohang. According to the original plan, I was going to visit the filming location of Gaetmaeul Chachacha and eat, but I didn't want to overdo it because of the heavy rain, so I just took pictures of Villa de Wave, had a cup of coffee, and lounged around at the hotel :) ​ I think I mostly ate and drank in Pohang, but this is the place I remember the most. I don't have any pictures of the exterior because it rained so much, but since the restaurant is on a high hill, I was a little worried that I might slip on the rainy road. The parking lot isn't that big, but I heard you can park on the shoulder below. If you have to, there's a public parking lot on the beach side, so it shouldn't be hard to park. The menu is simple in a cozy space. There are a lot of rice bowls and no side dishes, which was a bit disappointing. Or, I think it might be a place that sticks to rice bowls for a quick turnover during meal times. There is also a filming location for the nearby fishing village Chachacha, so celebrities must have visited and eaten there. I really enjoyed this drama. Maybe because it has a predictable plot but a simple and cute feel, I think about it sometimes. Hong Banjang must have had a hard time..tttt The most famous menu is stone octopus. However, I can't eat octopus, so I only ordered for my wife. I ordered cube steak rice bowl instead. Considering the quality, I think the price is reasonable enough. Plus, it's rare to find a place that boils stone octopus whole and cooks it as a rice bowl. My wife said that the stone octopus rice bowl had a great texture and was fresh, so it was the most delicious food she had done during her vacation. This is a review from the pickiest gourmet I know, so it's a note worth considering. The steak rice bowl I had was also excellent. The cubes were large enough to chew generously, and the portion wasn't too much, so I ate it all. The pine mushrooms, asparagus, sprouts, etc. The ingredients weren't too much, so it was just right, and the sauce wasn't too strong or sweet, so it brought out the fresh flavors of the ingredients.
