Return Return the motorcycle at the Khao Yai checkpoint from the original point. Cross the side to wait for the public van Pak Chong - Khao Yai (There are vans every 1 hour) Get off at Pak Chong at the original point. Cross the sky bridge to the van pick-up point back to Bangkok. (Opposite the pickup point for the songthaew) Important because we almost missed the return trip. The first public songthaew is at 06.00 AM. The last one from Pak Chong to Khao Yai is at 5.00 PM. The last public songthaew from Khao Yai to Pak Chong is around 3.00 PM. The location of the songthaew stop is Tel.: 084-299-5824 We chose to stay at "The Jungle House" for 1,500 baht. It is close to the valley, the air is fresh and the price is not expensive. Things to know Book your accommodation in advance before your check-in date or the accommodation may be full. Book a motorbike rental at the checkpoint at 086-2457882 and 098-2105098 (there are a limited number of motorbikes, so it is recommended to book in advance). The national park entrance fee is 40 baht for adults and 20 baht for children. After paying the national park entrance fee, carry your card with you while you are visiting the national park for inspection.
