Qingdao Film Museum, it takes me back to my youth

Qingdao Film Museum, located on the seaside boulevard of the west coast of Huangdao, is a red castle facing the sea and backed by mountains. Underneath the castle is a tunnel leading to the sea. The design of the museum is very fitting with its theme, which is a time-traveling building. Stepping into here, everyone has a feeling of traveling through time, tracing the development of Chinese cinema over the past hundred years, from black and white to color, from film to digital, immersive experience, interesting and wonderful. Especially for me, it's a beautiful encounter with my youth. The Qingdao Museum houses many film projectors, including 16mm and 35mm, portable and stationary. As I toured around, I couldn't help but touch these old projectors, as if I was back in my youthful military life. Back then, I was a projectionist for the division's film team. Despite my young age and small stature, I was responsible for showing films to all the officers and soldiers of the division. The mobile 16mm and portable 35mm projectors were important weapons for my military training. I remember very clearly that every time I showed a film on the playground, I had to concentrate during the handover and ensure accurate connection. Especially when operating the 16mm single machine film change, I had to shorten the loading time as much as possible. Under the lights, I could feel the gaze of all the officers and soldiers, and my heart was inevitably nervous, and my hands were shaking. I was really young and competitive at that time. Although I was nervous every time I showed a film, I always volunteered to go on stage. Perhaps because I had a shared experience with cinema, the Qingdao Film Museum is particularly vivid and interesting in my eyes. No matter where I take photos with my phone, they are full of a strong film feel. My little treasure also particularly likes it here, constantly experiencing various parts. In his words: 'It's so much fun here, I don't want to leave.'
