📌About 2.5 hours' drive from downtown Guilin to Tianhu Lake 🌇As you drive along the road to Tianhu Lake, you'll see straight fir trees on both sides, lush and stretching into the distance. Without a car, it's not very convenient to explore, as the scenic area is vast and mountainous. Driving is recommended. 🚘🚙🚕🚖 Due to road construction, Tianhu Lake currently has few visitors, making for an excellent experience. 🥾 Drive slowly up the mountain road, find a good spot to stop and enjoy the view or take photos—every section offers different mountain scenery. 🌳 Tianhu Lake itself is a reservoir at an altitude of 1,600 meters, with daytime temperatures around 20°C and nighttime temperatures about 19°C. 🎿🛷⛄️ The 13 reservoirs 🚣‍♂ resemble bright mirrors, dotted among the towering mountains, interconnected and complementing each other, showcasing Tianhu Lake's gentle beauty. 🏕️ This season, Tianhu Lake is a sea of green 🌻, with open vistas, endless fir trees, and clear streams 🏖️ 🌂, plus lush grass covering the mountains—the scent of nature 🌿 is incredibly healing~ 👀 Tips: ✅ The road from Quanzhou Caibei is rough; it's better to take the Ziyuan direction. ✅ The temperature varies greatly between day and night, so bring a light jacket for the evening. ✅ There are small mosquitoes at night! Don’t forget insect repellent. 📌 Accommodation: ✅ You can camp at Tianhu Lake 🏕️ or stay at the Chaping Hotel near the entrance. ✅ According to Lele Jie, due to road construction, the hotel may not be open daily. If you plan to stay, call ahead to confirm. ☕ Dining: ✅ There’s hardly any food inside Tianhu Lake—it’s better suited for camping, but open-flame barbecues are not allowed. ✅ You can also eat at Chaping Hotel. ✅ Near the entrance, there’s a farmhouse restaurant serving home-style dishes. We had a local chicken for 180 yuan, perfect for four or five people.
