New Zealand's most worthwhile open-air hot spring onsen

🏨📍: New Zealand · Onsen Wooden Barrel Hot Spring The Angson Barrel Hot Springs is Queenstown's only private indoor/outdoor hot spring, located on a cliff overlooking the Shotover River Canyon, with stunning scenery. This time we chose a private bath with outdoor views. The double ticket booked in advance was about 800rmb, but it was definitely worth it! The hotel will provide two drinks and two snacks, so you can drink some drinks while soaking in the hot springs and enjoying the scenery. Friends who are not traveling by car don’t have to worry, there is a free shuttle bus from downtown Queenstown, which is very convenient. The scenery is already beautiful in spring, and you can imagine that it would be even more stunning if you came in winter to see the snow-covered lakes and snow-capped mountains. It surpassed my outdoor bamboo forest private hot spring experience in Kobe, Japan. And the price of onsen is much better than Kobe. I must arrange another visit next time I come to Queenstown, New Zealand💬.
