One of the highlights was trekking for 30 minutes through lush greenery to reach a breathtaking waterfall — totally worth the climb! We also visited Sade Village, known for its unique Sasak “marriage kidnapping” tradition. We had the rare opportunity to step inside traditional houses and witness firsthand how the locals weave beautiful handmade items like sarungs. Food was another highlight — especially the fresh seafood in Mataram. City Crab served some of the best dishes we had on the island! To top it off, we spent a full day at Gili Trawangan, soaking in the sun, snorkeling in crystal-clear waters, beach hopping, and experiencing the island’s famous nightlife. Lombok truly offers the perfect blend of nature, culture, and fun — an unforgettable summer escape.
