Phra That Renu Nakhon Temple

Wat Phra That Renu or Wat That Renu is located in Renu Subdistrict, Mueang Renu District, Nakhon Phanom Province. It was originally called Wat Klang because it was built in the middle of Renu Nakhon, a Phu Thai region. It is a temple that is a symbol of the city. Inside the temple, there is a Phra That Renu that is a replica of the original Phra That Phanom. Phra That Renu is a square pagoda made of lime mixed with pink sand. The base is shaped like a lotus petal. Phra That Renu is the sacred relic of people born on Monday. It is believed that whoever comes to pay homage will have a beautiful complexion like the moonlight.
