The smallest town in Spain with a cathedral

Spanish Pyrenees Hike ~ Huesca (Region) This original cathedral was built under the patronage of Count Ribagorza and consecrated on November 30, 956 by Bishop Odisendo. Reconstruction soon began, coinciding with the reign of Sancho III, King of Pamplona and Infante of Sobrabe and Ribagorza. The tomb of Saint Ramón, Bishop of Roda de Isabena, is enshrined here. It is a Romanesque sarcophagus with a reproduction of themes from the childhood of Jesus on the front: the Annunciation, the Visitation, the Nativity and the Adoration of the Kings; on the sides are the Flight into Egypt and San Ramón between two deacons. #AprilDestinations2025 #SpainTravel #Aragon
