Rome Free Travel | LH Hotel in the Quiet Mountains

Located in the west of Rome, the LH Hotel Rome Monte Mario is our recent choice. The hotel is located at Via Degli Scolopi 31. It is only 1 km from Monte Mario Train Station, and there are many fun places nearby, such as Museo della Mente, Chiesa Santa Maria del Rosario, and Stadio Olimpico. It took us less than ten minutes by train to get to the city center, which was very convenient. Although the hotel is outside the city center, transportation is quite convenient. We mainly took bus 913 or the train from Gemelli Station to the city. The surrounding environment is very quiet, and you can hear birds chirping in the morning. The hotel's decoration style is very simple and modern. Although it is a bit old, it is well maintained. The staff who received us on the first day of check-in were very enthusiastic and always had a smile on their faces. They took us through all the procedures, and we got the room key quickly. As for the room experience, our room was basic, not large, but clean and tidy. The bed was very comfortable, and there was enough space for luggage. Although the air conditioner was like a blower, it barely cooled down. The shower water pressure was low, and the water flow was small. Fortunately, the staff came to solve the problem quickly. Of course, we also had a good impression of the hotel's other facilities. There is a gym and swimming pool, but the pool requires an additional fee. The hotel's restaurant offers quite good pizza and a hearty breakfast. However, the breakfast area is small, and the choices are limited, but it is better than nothing. We ordered room service, and although it was a bit slow, the food was delicious. As for nearby recommendations, you can enjoy some local delicacies at Lume - Osteria Alle Scalette or Adesso Vineria-bistrot, both of which are not far from the hotel and within walking distance. You can also take a stroll around Piazza Navona and enjoy a leisurely time in Rome. Of course, the hotel also has some minor drawbacks. First, it is a bit far from the city center. Although there are buses available, the 30-minute drive is still a bit inconvenient. Secondly, although the room is fully equipped, there are still small problems with the phone and TV, which sometimes require waiting for the staff to come and repair them. Overall, the LH Hotel Rome Monte Mario is a cost-effective choice for travelers who like quietness and are on a budget. If you don't mind being a little far from the city center, this is definitely a good choice for your trip to Rome.
