Yeping Red Tourism Scenic Spot

Located 6 kilometers from the center of Ruijin City, this is one of the best-preserved revolutionary sites in China—the Yeping Red Tourism Scenic Spot. There are 22 existing revolutionary sites and memorial buildings, mainly including the site of the First Soviet Congress, the site of the Central Bureau, the site of the National Bank, the Martyrs Memorial Tower, the Red Army Review Platform, Lenin Terrace, the Printing House, the Post Office, the Guard Camp, and the Radio Corps. Yeping, a village covering an area of over 160 acres, is the birthplace of China's first national-level red political power interim central government and the first station of the CPC Soviet Central Bureau. The first bright dawn of the Chinese revolution rose here. This magical and glorious red holy land is the bassinet of the Republic and today's Zhongnanhai. After the Red Army's Long March evacuated from here, almost all the buildings were demolished by the Kuomintang authorities. After the founding of New China, they were successively renovated and rebuilt, forming the current key cultural relics protection zone. The scenic spot is lush with vegetation, banyan trees shade the sky, lawns are green everywhere, and the air is exceptionally fresh. Standing in front of the old residences, as far as the eye can see, there is lush greenery, yellow walls and black tiles, and red totems, demonstrating grandeur in simplicity and solemnity in tranquility.
