The tradition of paying homage and bathing the Phra Borommathat Kaeng Soi

🎑Every April, Tak Province will hold an event called “Tradition of Paying Homage to the Phra Borom That Kaeng Soi” at Wat Phra Borom That Kaeng Soi on the bank of the Bhumibol Dam reservoir, Tambon Ban Na, Amphoe Sam Ngao, Tak Province. It is a tradition of Lanna Thai Buddhists. The pilgrimage route by water must be rafted or taken from the Bhumibol Dam to the temple. It is considered a good thing on Thai New Year's Day to bring good fortune to yourself and your family. 🚤Although traveling to Wat Phra Borom That Kaeng Soi requires a 3-hour boat ride from the Bhumibol Dam or a 7-hour raft ride, if you experience the beautiful nature of Mae Ping Lake and the fullness of merit, it is worth the trip. #Cultural tourism
